Orthopedic Surgery
Dr.
Baden performs orthopedic evaluations and consultations addressing medical-legal issues that may be pertinent to your case. Appointments with Dr. Baden can be scheduled for evaluation of patients. Following a comprehensive history, examination and review of available diagnostic studies and medical records, Dr. Baden makes appropriate recommendations and comments on the results of the findings. Dr. Baden provides treatment, when appropriate, to cure or relieve the effects of an orthopedic injury or condition, and comments referable to potential residual.
Dr.
Baden utilizes medical record review to assess the relative status of an orthopedic injury or condition over the course of time indicated in the records, for determination of causation, and to assess the effectiveness and appropriateness of prior treatment. Dr. Baden finds that the presentation of a current orthopedic condition being evaluated can be more comprehensively and definitively addressed by reviewing relevant medical records that complement the decision-making process.
Dr.
Baden provides orthopedic opinion as to whether or not there is
a causal association between an injury claimed by an individual and
the orthopedic conditions or symptoms reported. Dr. Baden supports his orthopedic
opinion with established practices in the orthopedic community and peer-reviewed
scientific literature.
Dr.
Baden provides comprehensive reports addressing relevant issues, including medically reasonable causation, appropriate treatment, and apportionment of residual impairment / disability, if any.
In reporting, Dr. Baden addresses the relative merit of information contained in medical records, accident records, employment records, reports, depositions, affidavits, testimonies and peer-reviewed literature, particularly in reference to chronological sequences and historical development of orthopedic conditions that either support or refute orthopedic opinions in question.
Dr.
Baden provides expert orthopedic deposition and court testimony relative to the issues of a case, including addressing standards of practice in the orthopedic community to support his orthopedic medical opinions.
Dr.
Baden provides assessment of disability / impairment, with appropriate applicable rating. Dr. Baden serves as a Qualified Medical Examiner, an Agreed Medical Examiner and an Independent Medical Examiner.

 Orthopedic Surgery Millions of injuries occur every year, a number of which require orthopedic surgery to cure or relieve the effects of the injury. It is Dr. Baden's opinion that in appropriate cases, orthopedic surgery may provide increased functioning, where there is sufficient, reasonable criteria establishing the need for surgery.
